Corporate Business and Event Photography in London

Making sure the story of your event keeps working for your brand long after it’s over.

Your event happened. But what does it actually look like?

You planned it carefully. You pulled it together. And on the day, something real happened in that room – conversations, laughter, a speaker who landed just right, an award handed over with genuine pride.

But if you don’t have images that reflect that energy, what are you left with? A few blurry phone shots and a slide deck. That’s where I come in.

Good event photography isn’t only documentation. It’s storytelling. It shows your audience – the ones who were there and the ones who weren’t – what your brand feels like in action.

When someone scrolls through your website or social media after your event, the images should make them think: I want to be part of that.

That only happens when the photos capture what was real – not just what was staged.

How I Approach Event Photography

I’m not here to direct people into neat rows for group shots (unless you want that). I’m here to move through the room quietly, pay attention, and catch the moments that actually matter. The speakers mid-sentence, confident and in their element. The audience leaning in, laughing, reacting. The in-between moments — the handshake after the talk, the conversation over coffee, the award recipient’s face when their name is called. And the atmosphere of the whole day: the room, the details, the energy.

These are the images that tell your story. And they’re the ones your audience will remember.

What I cover:

I work with businesses and organisations across a range of events, including:

Corporate events and conferences
Meetings and presentations
Awards ceremonies
Book launches and creative events
Networking events and workshops
Charity and nonprofit gatherings

Whether it’s an intimate team meeting or a full-day conference, I adapt to the environment and work with what’s there.

This is not for you if:

You either do not want to photograph real human moments or only want to capture a couple of posed group photos.

If this feels like you, let’s capture your event together:

If you need an event photographer, hire Saskia — you won’t regret it! She photographed a networking event for me and the photos are BRILLIANT. Her documentary style truly captured the energy in the room in such a warm, authentic way. Plus, she’s lovely and an absolute dream to work with. I would recommend Saskia without hesitation.

What Working Together Is Like

1. You Reach Out

You send me a message to say you have an event you’d like photographed. We’ll set up a no-pressure discovery call to see if we’re a good fit. Once you book, you’ll receive a questionnaire that helps me understand your work, your values, your audience, and what you want your event to do.

2. We Spend Time Together

On the day, I arrive early and work discreetly through your event. Moving through the room quietly, paying attention, and catching the moments that actually matter. You won’t need to manage me or point me in the right direction. I come prepared, I know what I’m looking for, and I make sure the important moments are covered so you can actually be present in your own event.

3. You See Your Event

Within four weeks of your event, you’ll receive a curated gallery of professionally edited images. I go through everything carefully, selecting the shots that best tell the story of your day. Focussing of the energy, the details, emotions and above all the relationships.

4. You Use Your Images

Strong event images keep working long after the day itself. Use them for social media content that shows your brand in action, website imagery that builds trust, press and PR material, and content for future events that shows potential attendees what they can expect. And beyond the practical value — these are the moments where your work becomes visible, where your team shows up, where your mission meets the room. That deserves to be documented properly.

Hi, I’m Saskia

I’m a documentary photographer and filmmaker based in South-East London. My specialism is capturing real moments, the ones that happen naturally, without direction or staging. In an event environment that means I work quietly and unobtrusively, reading the room and staying ready for the moments that matter. People tend to forget I’m there, which is exactly when the best images happen.

FAQs

Booking a photographer or filmmaker can bring up questions. Here are a few I’m often asked.

  • Can you cover my event for more than two hours?

Absolutely. A lot of events need more than a couple of hours to tell the full story, from the setup and arrival through to the closing moments. If you need additional hours beyond the 2, I charge £150 per extra hour. For multi-day events, get in touch, and I’ll build a package around that.

  • Do I need to manage you on the day?

Not at all. I come prepared, having already talked through your schedule and priorities beforehand. I know what I’m looking for, and I’ll move through the space discreetly, so you can focus on your event and your people, and leave the photography to me.

  • How long until I receive my event images?

You’ll receive your edited gallery within four weeks of your event. If you have a specific deadline, a press release, a board report, or a social media post going out, let me know in advance, and we can talk through what’s possible.

  • Do you offer video and film as well as photography?

Yes, alongside event photography, I also work in documentary film. If you’d like both covered, that’s something we can absolutely discuss.

  • What kinds of events do you cover?

I work across a wide range of events, from corporate conferences, meetings, and presentations to awards ceremonies, book launches, networking events, workshops, and charity gatherings. If you’re not sure whether your event fits, just get in touch and ask.

  • What locations do you cover?

I’m based in Bromley, South-East London, and work across London and the surrounding areas, including Central London, Greenwich, Dulwich, Lewisham, Croydon, Kent, and Surrey. I’m also happy to travel further afield across the UK (or abroad) where the project calls for it. Not sure if you’re in range? Just ask.

  • Will you just take posed group shots?

That’s not really my main style, though I can absolutely include them if you want them. My focus is on the real moments: the reactions, the conversations, the energy in the room.

  • I’ve never hired an event photographer before. Where do I start?

Just send me a message. We’ll have a no-pressure discovery call to talk through your event, what you need, and whether we’re a good fit. No obligation, no jargon, but a straightforward conversation.

If you have a question that isn’t answered here, feel free to get in touch — I’m always happy to chat things through.

Not ready to send me that message?

No problem. Grab a cup of tea and have a browse of the blog, or find out a bit more about me. I’ll be here when you’re ready.
