Capture beautiful & creative photos of your loved ones,
that you're proud to hang on your walls!
You have a ‘proper’ camera but feel completely overwhelmed with all the buttons and wheels. Your camera is stuck on ‘Automatic’, not letting you take creative control over the picture you take. You would love to take natural images of your family but seem too often miss the moment, or you take photos that are blurry or do not really capture the feeling of your family and the individual personalities!
I am here for YOU. ‘The Picture Playground’ is a beginner’s photography workshop for parents, to help you capture your own slice of life. You will be able to take photographs for your children and future grandchildren to experience what life was like. To capture your family’s visual history. I will help you understand your camera settings and take pictures that are sharp. To help you learn how to capture the moment beautifully by using composition and light to guide you.
Unlock your creativity while meeting other like-minded parents in a workshop that will let you play, create and learn. Come and join The Picture Playground taking place in spring 2024.

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.” — Ansel Adams

Welcome
I’m Saskia
“Every family deserves a visual legacy”
I specialise in creative documentary family photography, which celebrates real moments in your everyday life. I want you to be able to capture your family’s quiet, your chaos, your love, your life. To help you create pictures that make you say: ‘This is Us’.
Photos and films are the keepers of memories. I know first hand how important pictures are. When my dad died I was four years old. Those photographs of us together are my actual memories and I cherish them up until this day. So make sure you capture those daily family moments, not just for you but also for your kids.
